Redivider Quickie Contest

In February, on the last day of AWP at the book fair, Redivider (a Boston literary journal) was finishing an on-the-spot, “quickie” writing contest. All entries had to be submitted by noon – I stopped by their booth at around 10:30 AM and dashed off a little poem. To my surprise, it was selected by Rane Arroyo as one of the top five entries. So, although I didn’t “win” publication in the magazine, it was a nice little boost to read my name today posted on NewPages blog as a finalist.
